Buried Town of Mammoth Lakes - Fine Art Print
Buried Town of Mammoth Lakes • 1/18/2023
f/20 • 1/640 sec • ISO 200
A snow-covered town spreads across the mountainside, its buildings and roads partially concealed below layers of winter snow. Dark evergreen trees divide the neighborhoods, creating patterns of green, white, and gray throughout the landscape. Shot from an elevated perspective, the scene shows how the town fits into the surrounding mountains. The dense forest in the foreground contrasts with the developed areas beyond, while the heavy snow gives even the usual streets and buildings a distinctly alpine appearance.
Available Formats
This artwork is available in extra-durable aluminum, museum-quality acrylic, specially selected archival paper, or super-sticky stickers. METAL PRINT WITH FLOAT MOUNT IS MOST RECOMMENDED; it is durable enough to hang outdoors without noticeable fading for two years and is easy to hang in any location. My photographs are shot, edited, and finished specifically with metal in mind. All options look amazing. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to make a special request.
I recommend metal or acrylic prints for the best quality, offering exceptional depth, contrast, and clarity that bring out subtle textures in the landscape. They are high-performance and highly durable. Each photograph is printed from the original photograph with careful attention to tonal range and detail. Designed to preserve subtle shifts in light and texture, each print invites slow viewing and long-term appreciation.
Craft & Production
Photographed and edited by the artist Neal Covert. Each print is hand-signed and professionally printed, ensuring consistent color accuracy and archival quality.
